Choose colour temperature according to colour and material

The colour temperature determines how warm or cool the light is. The choice affects the feeling created in the room and in what way the illuminated space is perceived.

2700K is often felt as soft and dampened while 3000K is more crisp and clear.

A warmer colour temperature amplifies surfaces that have a warm tone, e.g. wood. While a cooler color temperature reinforces the cold color scale, e.g. a grey cabinet door.

Colour temperature that suits the material

This kitchen was initially wooden colored and illuminated with 2700K. When repainted in a grey tone, Focus Track Micro 1-phase was installed on a LiteTrac rail. 3000K was chosen to enhance it.

Even and simple installation

There are a few things to think about when planning the illumination of shiny materials such as tiles or stone slabs. LED Extend G2 gives an even and homogenous light with its opal cover. In this way, there are no visible and disturbing reflection of light points on the counter top. Another advantage of LED Extend G2 is the simple mounting.
