Protective covers for most brands of approved recessed downlights. Spot Guard is manufactured from glass-fiber reinforced polyamide plastic PA6/195°C, which is V0-rated and capable of withstanding a glow-wire test of 950°C, verified by Intertek. The plastic is self-extinguishing, meets fire safety requirements, and is recyclable. The covers may be covered with insulation. Remember to follow the luminaire manufacturer's installation instructions as well as our recommendations for maximum lamp wattage according to the table.
