Policy for handling personal data

Personal data is used for the administration of the services/delivery, information, marketing of Elektro Elco AB's goods and services, profiling (i.e. an analysis of the customer to communicate with the customer in the best manner) as well as for certain statistics, evaluation and quality assurance work.

Elektro Elco AB would like to use email in communication with customers. As the customer has ticked the box in the order form that they want information about Elektro Elco AB's products via email, the customer has agreed that personal data is also used for this purpose.

Customer data may be handled by somebody called a data processor, who will assist us with company communications with the customer. This data processor will only handle data in accordance with the purpose for which the customer’s personal data was gathered.

Elektro Elco AB will retain the customer's information as long as they are a customer of the company and for another 36 months for the above purposes. Then they will be saved for different legal requirements, such as the Accounting Act. Once that time has passed, the customer's personal data will be deleted.

The processing of the customer's personal data in Elektro Elco AB's customer database is based on the order contract, legal obligations and legitimate interest. When it comes to legitimate interest, the company uses the customer's tasks, for example, to adapt the company's communication to the customer based on the customer's purchase.

The data controller for the processing of personal data is Elektro Elco AB. The customer has the right to receive information free of charge about which personal information exists in the company about the customer. If the customer considers that a task is incorrect or misleading, the customer should get in touch at once. Contact information for the customer can be found below.
