CORRECT WALL FIXTURE FOR FACADE

Our wide range of outdoor fittings opens a number of possibilities.

So you can easily select facade illumination, we have produced an overview of our various wall fixtures. All our luminaires are developed and adapted to withstand the harsh Nordic climate.
They are also easily installed and ready for connection directly to 230V.

CHOOSE LIGHT

Which application?
To start with, it’s a good idea to think through where you need the light, i.e. the application. Do you need functional or decorative light? A functional light could be illumination in entrances, pathways and stairs, which contribute to security and orientation. Decorative effects can be created as a complement to the functional lighting. A large facade section without windows can be illuminated with a group of wall fixtures with a distinct light distribution for creating exciting patterns. Or why not illuminate a detail with a different material to create a unique expression?

What light distribution?
Light distribution can be perceived as narrow, medium or wide beam. It is an advantage when illuminating a narrow facade to use a product with a narrow light distribution. While a wide section can suit all types of light distributions, depending on the effect you are looking for. No matter whether the light distribution is narrow, medium or wide, the light character can be either distinct or diffuse. It’s a choice of opinion and taste. Light distribution can also be symmetric or asymmetric.

Which light outlet?
Our range includes luminaires with only downlight but also variations with both up and downlight. Refer to the overview below.

Remember! Facade materials or protruding details may impact on the light distribution. For example, facade panelling or window ledges.

Cone from Hidealite on white plastered facade.

Cube 1 from Hidealite on dark wooden facade.

CHOOSE LUMINAIR FAMILY

Which form?
Our range includes round and square wall fixtures grouped into different families. A general tip is to keep to one and the same family to ensure a uniform look.

Which colour?
There’s nor right or wrong when it comes to the colour of the luminaire. Our facade luminaires are available in white, grey or anthracite.

Remember!
White luminaires on white facades will discretely blend into the background while dark ones will stand out and give contrast. You can also match the colour of the luminaire to the window frames, for example.
