Conventional fluorescent tubes are one of Sweden’s most common light sources and are still used in many public environments, such as schools, offices, hospitals and industrial premises, but they are also found in people’s homes. In autumn 2023 the European Commission’s ban on mercury in fluorescent tubes comes into force. Mercury is one of the most dangerous environmental toxins and represents a threat to both the climate and people’s health. The ban means that is no longer lawful to sell conventional fluorescent tubes in the EU and the decision will make positive contribution towards a better climate.

Luminaire lumen & and power are stated for 4000K. 
Note that the replacement beam angle and IP Degree of Protection should be equivalent to existing luminaires. 
Columns with reference to mA refer to the product’s system power and luminaire lumen with the stated DIP-Switch Power. This is configured in the product’s driver.

* We report the luminaires’ system power with the standard markup below on the total power of the light sources to take drive losses into account:
T5: HF driver +10%
T8: Magnetic current limiter +50%
** We have assumed that the fluorescent tube luminaire has 70% efficiency when calculating luminaire lumen based on light source lumen.
